A real international competition - International Coding Competition for Kids | Coding Cup 2024 will help you not only gain experience, but also enroll in budget-funded places in educational institutions around the world, receive a grant, or get into a summer IT school in France. International Coding Competition for Kids | Coding Cup 2024 is aimed at supporting gifted children, developing schoolchildren's interest in studying exact, natural and engineering sciences, creating conditions for the intellectual development of students, disseminating and popularizing scientific knowledge and improving the pedagogical qualifications of teachers from around the world. For mentors, during the Superfinal period an international conference will be held in France, with debates and exchange of experience on working with schoolchildren. Each mentor or teacher receives a corresponding Certificate based on the results.

Competitors are not permitted to bring their own computers, computer terminals, calculators or other electronic devices into the competition area. Conduct of the participant - do not touch at the team workplaces until otherwise instructed by the Super Final Director. Competitors must not speak to anyone other than their team members and staff designated by the Grand Final Director. System support staff can advise members on system-related problems, such as explaining system error messages. A team may be disqualified by the Super Finals Director for any activity that jeopardizes the conduct of the Super Finals, such as moving extension cords, unauthorized modification of competition materials, distracting behavior or behavior contrary to these rules.Any participant may be disqualified from further participation due to any activity that jeopardizes the International Coding Competition for Kids | Coding Cup 2024, or due to behavior that does not comply with these rules.

The best children, accompanied by their parents or teachers (mentors), are invited to an in-person competition - the Superfinal in France. Dates for the final round - super final: October 20 - 24, 2024 in Paris (France). October 20, 2024 is the day of arrival, arrival in Paris, October 24, 2024 is the day of departure back to your country of residence and October 21, 22 and 23, 2024 are 3 full days of competitive competitions. You can create your game using block programming, Python or JavaScript, or another program of your choice. Block-based programming can be done on any platform you're comfortable with. If you write your code on any block coding platform, please share a link to your project. If you write your code in Python or Javascript, upload it to any cloud drive of your choice and share the link with us, making sure to include our email address as access to your file. Create a short video describing your game, the characters in the game, the levels of the game, and how it should be played. Provide all links and submit your application. Competent professional jury and scoring in the first stage and super finalThe First Round and Super Final judges are solely responsible for determining the correctness of the results presented. In agreement with the judges of the first round and the super final, the director of judging is responsible for determining the winners of the super final. They are empowered to adapt to or make decisions on unforeseen events and conditions. Their decisions are final. Teams are ranked by the largest number of solved problems. Teams finishing in the top ten places and solving the same number of problems are ranked first based on the shortest total time and, if necessary, the earliest submission time of the last accepted attempt. Total time is the sum of the time spent on each task. The time taken to solve a problem is equal to the time elapsed from the start to the submission of the first accepted attempt plus 10 penalty minutes for each previously rejected attempt on that problem (except that there is no penalty for attempts rejected due to compilation reasons). No time is wasted on an unresolved problem. Competition for Kids | The Coding Cup is held at the expense of
raised funds from the organizers, registration fees from
participants, funds from partners and other income, in accordance
with international law. ROUND 1 - distance qualifying Registration fee - 50,- Euro. Based on the results, all participants receive Diplomas (electronically and originals by international mail), depending on the location and teacher. The best results will be invited to participate in the second round in France. ROUND 2 - full-time in France (Paris) - Superfinal An elite commission consisting of professional programmers and industry experts will select 300 applications in the first round. These 300 participants or teams will be invited to participate in person in France (Paris) to participate in the Super Final. During the Superfinal within each discipline, International Coding Competition for Kids | Coding Cup participants are divided into categories according to age. Each nomination has its own task and its own definition of results. Problems are issued on the day of the super final on the first, second and third days. Every day a new task is given that is more difficult than the previous day. Registration fee for participation in the Superfinal - 100,- Euro, Organizers of the International Coding Competition for Kids | Coding Cup does not cover the costs of accommodation, transportation and other expenses of participating teams, and also does not search for sponsors for candidates to participate in the super final. Costs for reception in France based on 5 days / 4 nights- 550 euros (for 3-bed
occupancy in a room, tourist class hotel with all the amenities of
category 2**). Included in the price: 4 nights hotel accommodation, sightseeing tour of Paris by bus, 2 transfers - on the day of arrival in Paris and on the day of departure from Paris. The airport of arrival in Paris is Aéroport de Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle. In all cases, prices are indicated without breakfast and other meals.
